I will need to experiment with different quantities I think. I followed your overnight method and just fell down at the loaf part. Experimenting is half of the fun though!

Thanks for the encouragement :)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07790788516788938079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596696576928109096.post-10426898290569414032015-01-10T14:47:29.040+10:002015-01-10T14:47:29.040+10:00I didn't know they sold by the box either... i...I didn't know they sold by the box either... it's a dangerous piece of knowledge!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07790788516788938079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596696576928109096.post-24760600740011212842015-01-10T14:47:01.983+10:002015-01-10T14:47:01.983+10:00I'm glad I'm not the only one!! Not sure which recipe you're currently using, but the overnight dough one seems to work well with Priscilla and her babies, and lots of friends on Twitter have had success with it. Best to try it first off with white bakers flour (the supermarket variety is fine, and in fact I find it usually works better than organic flours). It's also very simple with most of the proving taking place overnight - perfect for working around a new bub! :)

http://figjamandlimecordial.com/2014/12/12/an-overnight-sourdough-in-pictures/celiahttp://www.figjamandlimecordial.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596696576928109096.post-76775537819187242242015-01-05T20:01:46.805+10:002015-01-05T20:01:46.805+10:00I love those Merryteasers - didn't know they s...I love those Merryteasers - didn't know they sold them by the box - though its probably just as well!Napoli Restaurant Alerthttp://www.napolirestaurantalert.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596696576928109096.post-64063945889759770212015-01-05T17:58:38.599+10:002015-01-05T17:58:38.599+10:00oh my that boston bun! hilarious. i'm with y...oh my that boston bun! hilarious. i'm with you - i must have a dirty mind too. that barley and couscous loaf looks really interesting. barley is one of my fave things. so nourishing and reminds me of my mum and her thick barley soups. what lovely guests to eat the scones. have a great 2015.sherry from sherryspickingshttp://sherryspickings.blogspot.com.aunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596696576928109096.post-65952120277747279582015-01-05T11:37:06.324+10:002015-01-05T11:37:06.324+10:00Perhaps I should give the baker the benefit of the...Perhaps I should give the baker the benefit of the doubt :)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07790788516788938079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596696576928109096.post-30512483410588576852015-01-05T07:38:21.395+10:002015-01-05T07:38:21.395+10:00I've been given to understand that all the bes...I've been given to understand that all the best starters have a name and a lineage!
